Stephen Curry shows no signs of retiring, setting him apart from LeBron James’ potential departure from the game

Stephen Curry is not near retirement like LeBron James is.

LeBron James, the star player for the Lakers, didn’t spend much time on the court tonight. He’s been hurt a lot lately, which has led to questions about whether he should quit. Before the 2024 All-Star Game started, James thought about it and said he doesn’t know when he’ll stop, but he knows it will happen soon. James told the press after the game, “I’m trying to give the game everything I have until I have nothing left.” My favorite thing about games is just how much fun they are.

Following in the path of King James, Stephen Curry is now being asked about his plans to retire. Curry said it straight out, with a lot of confidence: “I think about it all the time.” Don’t think about those things though; you need to get ready for the next game. There is a pattern and loop. You live in the present. At some point, you’ll wake up and do whatever your figture or mind tells you to do. I don’t think I’m even close to that, though.”
