Chelsea Wants to Bring ‘unhappy’ Harry Kane returns to EPL Amid His Struggle in Munich

During the previous summer transfer window, Bayern Munich made a significant investment of 100 million euros to secure the services of striker Harry Kane. The talented player, born in 1993, has been consistently showcasing his goal-scoring prowess, recently finding the back of the net in a match against Bochum. However, despite his contributions, Bayern suffered a disappointing 2-3 defeat.

The situation has caught the attention of Tottenham, Kane’s former club, as Chelsea is rumored to be preparing a substantial bid for the “unhappy” striker. Kane has impressively scored 28 goals in just 22 Bundesliga appearances this season. Nonetheless, Bayern Munich currently finds themselves trailing the league leaders Bayer Leverkusen by 8 points. The team also experienced an early exit from the DFB-Pokal and a 0-1 loss to Lazio in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg.

After more than a decade without winning titles at Tottenham, Harry Kane now faces the possibility of concluding his first season at Bayern Munich without any silverware. Football Insider suggests that Chelsea could potentially secure Kane’s signature in the summer of 2024.

Mauricio Pochettino, Kane’s former coach, is closely monitoring his situation at Bayern Munich, and Chelsea may seize the opportunity to make an offer. If Bayern fails to secure any trophies this season, the 30-year-old striker may contemplate a return to the Premier League with Chelsea.

Pochettino’s strong relationship with Harry Kane, coupled with the player’s great respect for his former coach, could influence the England national team captain’s decision to reunite with Pochettino at Chelsea. Reports indicate that the London club is willing to match the fee Bayern Munich paid to Tottenham for Kane, should the chance arise to bring back the prolific striker to the Premier League.
