Ex-Chelsea boss tipped to succeed Erik ten Hag in sensational Premier League return, Bayern unhappy with comments

Bayern Munich has recently announced that Thomas Tuchel, the current head coach, will be leaving the team at the end of the season.

According to reports, Tuchel is rumored to have his sights set on the Manchester United position in the Premier League. It seems that he has always been interested in taking over as the head coach of the English club.

Tuchel previously had a stint at Chelsea in England, where he achieved success by leading the team to consecutive Champions League finals, winning the championship in his first season. However, his tenure at Chelsea ended when he fell out with the club’s current owners and was fired in September 2022.

Meanwhile, Erik Ten Hag, the current head coach of Manchester United, is under pressure despite the team’s recent winning streak. United has made significant investments in players like Casemiro, Rasmus Hojlund, and Antony over the past three years, but the on-field results have not been satisfactory. As a result, the team is currently outside the top four in the league.

Tuchel’s departure from Bayern Munich comes at a challenging time for the club, as they are at risk of missing out on the Bundesliga title for the first time in over a decade. The decision to part ways with Tuchel was made after consultation, and it was described as a mutual agreement. Tuchel’s contract with Bayern Munich will expire in 2025, but he will leave the team on June 30 of this year. In the statement, Tuchel expressed his commitment to achieving maximum success with his coaching staff until his departure.
