The Golden State Warriors defeated the New York Knicks by a score of 110-99 on Thursday night. Stephen Curry had a double-double by the middle of this game, coming back from a scoreless first half in his last game. He finished with 31 points and 11 rebounds.

With the addition of 25 points from Jonathan Kuminga, the Warriors were able to extend their winning streak on the road to seven games, which is their best winning streak since they won 11 games in a row during the 2018-19 season.

The Warriors jumped off to a 14-0 lead and never looked back, despite the fact that they were never in control for an extended period of time. The Knicks, who were short-handed, kept getting it back to a margin that was manageable despite the fact that they opened a series of significant cushions.

They were unable to come all the way back, and Golden State won for the tenth time in a total of twelve games throughout the course of the season.

This is the first time since November 23, 2012 that Curry has gone through two quarters of a game without scoring a single point. At the end of the game, he made eight three-pointers, and Klay Thompson contributed sixteen points. In his second game back after missing 21 games due to a fractured left hand, Chris Paul ended up scoring 11 points and dishing out six assists.

The Knicks concluded the month of February with a record of 4-8, following a record of 14-2 in January. Jalen Brunson scored 27 points for the Knicks. During the latter part of that month, however, they suffered the loss of starting forwards Julius Randle and OG Anunoby, and they do not know when they will return.

With less than three and a half minutes left, Golden State was still leading by seven points, but two baskets by Curry from outside the arc put the advantage back up to ten.

Coach Tom Thibodeau announced on Thursday that Anunoby was cleared to start doing solo basketball drills like dribbling and shooting, but he was not yet allowed to play in any contact situations while recovering from elbow surgery. This could mean that Anunoby is getting closer to making a comeback.
