DeMarcus Cousins believes that Trae Young should leave Atlanta because he is wasting his prime there.

An executive from the Eastern Conference added, “He’s available.” A Western Conference executive stated of the Hawks, who are 24-30 and once more slated for the play-in tournament, “I think they would love to trade Trae.” Before last week’s deadline, one executive claimed that Atlanta and San Antonio had discussed a possible Young deal. It was also widely known that the Hawks were marketing their other top guard, Dejounte Murray, prior to the deadline, but they were never able to come to an agreement. It is almost a given that they will split ways with one or both of them this summer.
