How Lindsay Lohan’s Baby Was Given Godparents: The Story of Steph & Ayesha Curry

Pictures of Lindsay Lohan wearing a Warriors shirt went viral recently, and if you look closely, Steph Curry left a unique message.

Lohan posed for a picture with Curry and her husband Bader Shammas during a Warriors-Hawks game last month.

Curry inscribed, “Your godparents love you,” on the jersey.

Luai, the infant boy born to Mean Girls actor Lohan recently, has Steph and his wife Ayesha as godparents.

In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lindsay gave an explanation of how her son got to have the NBA’s all-time best three-point shooter and his wife as godparents.

“Well, so, the chef Michael Mina, who my husband knows, kept telling Bader, “You need to introduce Lindsay and Ayesha,” while we were in Dubai,” she explained. “I require that they meet.” As it happened, she was visiting Dubai, so we got to meet and instantly clicked.

“It’s hilarious because as you get older, you don’t make adult friends or friendships that last a long time.”

Lohan continued by saying that Ayesha had supported her throughout her pregnancy and even earlier, when she first expressed a desire to have children.

Since they are starring as each other’s best friends in the upcoming Netflix film Irish Wish, the two have gotten even closer.

In a recent interview for the movie, Ayesha expressed her deep bond with Lindsay by saying, “We’ve been friends since the day we met.”

Regarding their collaboration, Lindsay remarked, “I love that this friendship was there, that we could actually have some fun female scenes. The previous movie I did, I didn’t have any girlfriends in the movie. That’s not really something I’ve done since Mean Girls.
