In his first year of collegiate basketball, Bronny James’s life hasn’t gone as planned. After Bronny made the decision to play collegiate basketball for the University of Southern California, he was the subject of intense media attention and buzz. But Bronny has been reduced to a bench duty for the Trojans, which has left him looking disgruntled. Even though Bronny had a difficult rookie season, he was fortunate to have access to something that very few players had.

A customized version of LeBron James’ NXXT Gen basketball sneakers was unveiled by Bronny James. The sneakers were altered to match the USC Trojans’ red and white color scheme. The pair also has Bronny’s signature on the tongue of the shoe and his #6 on the back. Two reverse swooshes were also added to the outside of the sneakers in this pair. Wearing his new sneakers, Bronny scored five points, grabbed six rebounds, had two steals, one assist, and one block. Bronny has been a little less involved for the Trojans this season, even though he started against the Arizona Wildcats.

Bronny has only averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 19.4 minutes of play while playing a smaller role. But Bronny is back in the starting lineup due to an injury sustained by starting point guard Boogie Ellis. Bronny was instrumental in the USC Trojans’ 78-65 victory over the Arizona Wildcats yesterday. Bronny finished with just 5 points and 6 rebounds, but his strong playmaking and defensive work were crucial to USC’s victory.Bronny’s developing career might be greatly aided by getting more playing time as a starter for USC. His recent lackluster performances have drawn a lot of attention, endangering his chances of being selected in the 2024 NBA Draft.

Man Bronny is unquestionably superior than some of the cats I’ve been watching today on League Pass. lightheartedly hilarious. LeBron James penned this in 2023. LeBron’s previous comments, though, have backfired because Bronny hasn’t performed up to par for USC. Because of how awful Bronny’s collegiate career has started thus far, ESPN has projected him to be selected in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft rather than the 2024 NBA Draft.
