The Warriors get good news about Steph Curry’s ankle injury

He had to leave the game because he rolled his ankle in the fourth quarter of the Golden State Warriors’ loss to the Chicago Bulls. An MRI was done on the experienced guard to look into the injury and make sure there was no major damage. The images also help the Warriors’ medical team figure out how long the All-Star guard will be out.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN says that Curry’s MRI came back clear, which will make the Coaching Staff and Fans of the Warriors feel better. Wojnarowski also said that it will be easier to tell when Curry will be able to play again once the doctors see how his ankle heals over the next few days.

This season, Curry has been great for Golden State. He’s played 59 games and averaged 26.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game. He also shot 44.9% from the field and 40.7% from three-point range.

The Spurs will play the Warriors on Saturday. Curry won’t be ready for that game yet, so Steve Kerr will have to change how he uses his players. Because of this, Chris Paul will probably move into the starting lineup until Curry is ready to go back into the mix.
