Steph Curry, the NBA’s all-time 3-point king, turned 36 years old on Wednesday. To celebrate, his wife, Ayesha Curry, dedicated a heartwarming tribute that she posted to her Instagram page.

Ayesha shared photos of her husband, with a few including herself. Aside from sharing a few images of Steph, her post also included a long caption in which she poured on compliments.

Here is what Ayesha’s Instagram post for the four-time NBA champion says:

“It’s my baby’s birthday!!!!!!!! Another trip around the sun. I am so grateful for every part of him, He is the coolest, most hardworking and smart person I’ve ever met. The sense of humor is just chef’s kiss.

“This 36th year of his is sure to be nothing short of epic. Shouting all of my love from the Instagram mountain top. The happiest of birthdays to my love.”

Despite turning 36, Steph is still not among the top 10 oldest players in the NBA who are currently participating. That being said, he is one of the rare players that is older than 35. He isn’t even the oldest player on the Golden State Warriors, in actuality. Chris Paul, 38, is the rightful owner of that honor.

At the very least, he has not slowed down offєnsively, as he continues to be his team’s top option. Some could even contend that he represents the lone saving grace for the struggling Warriors.

Curry’s outstanding play notwithstanding, the Warriors (34–31) are now in 10th place in the Western Conference, one game behind the LA Lakers (36-31). They appeared to have lost the spark they had after the All-Star celebrations, as they have now dropped three of their past five games. Prior to and during the festivities, they had been dominating.

Despite the fact that they still hold onto the final play-in slot and have a chance to challenge for a playoff berth, this is undoubtedly not where they had anticipated starting the season.

Whatever the case, it is difficult to dispute Steph Curry’s stellar statistical season. With 26.9 points per game, he is the team leader. Along with continuing to shoot lights out from beyond the arc (40.7% 3-point percentage), he was selected for the All-Star team for the tenth time.

While Steph Curry undoubtedly would prefer that the Warriors experience greater success in addition to his stats, his sustained success may be seen by team supporters as a positive and a foundation for the upcoming season or two.
