The Warriors moved ahead of the Lakers by a percentage point and into ninth place in the West after beating the Thunder in a game that went into extra time because of a broken clock and two replay reviews, one of which reversed what looked like a 3-pointer by James.
Golden State’s Trayce Jackson-Davis poked Davis in the left eye as Davis drove to the basket for a layup with 2:47 left in the first quarter. That’s when Davis stopped playing. When he got to the locker room, his eye was swollen shut.

Because Davis was hurt, Golden State was able to control inside and drive to the basket a lot. The Warriors had six more rebounds than the Lakers and scored 62 points to 54 for the Lakers in the paint.
Draymond Green had six points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists after missing the last game because of back pαin. Jonathan Kuminga scored 23 points for the Warriors.

Curry hadn’t played in three games because his right ankle was hurt. He turned 36 on Thursday. He missed his first three shots, but with 7:41 left in the first half, he got the ball back after missing and made a layup. During his 31-minute game, the two-time MVP made 12 of 24 shots from the field and had six boards and five assists.

James looked like he made a 3-pointer with 2:07 left to pull the Lakers within four points, but the basket was taken away by the replay center 17 seconds later because James’ foot was out of bounds.
There was a repeat review and a challenge on another play that went out of bounds. With 1:35 left, the shot clock stopped working.
The change put an end to the Lakers’ progress. They won the game when Curry stole the ball from James and threw it to Kuminga, who dunk it on his own to make the score 126–117.
