Warriors vs Knicks Game

On Monday, the second and final game of their season series between the Golden State Warriors and the New York Knicks took place at home. The Warriors won the first game of the season 110–99 on the road on March 1. Brunson led the Knicks to a 119–112 win that tied the season series.

Miles McBride scored a career-high 29 points, which helped the Knicks win their fourth straight game. Jalen Brunson scored an impressive 34 points, which included his third straight game with 30 or more points.

The Warriors were behind by as many as 15 points, but early in the fourth quarter they cut the lead to four points. But they weren’t able to make a comeback, and in the end they lost.

When Anunoby wasn’t there, McBride jumped at the chance to show how good he was by earning a starting job and making important contributions. He stopped Curry right away by playing tight defense, which helped New York keep Golden State scoreless for the first three minutes and 53 seconds. It was the Warriors’ longest scoreless streak to start a game in over three years.
