To help get into the Canadian market, LeBron James enlists Drake to promote Lobos 1707 Tequila. Before the Lakers-Raptors game, they celebrated with a star-studded party in Toronto.

The brand’s stated goal is to level the playing field for like-minded people by giving them a voice and opening doors in the spirits sector. The brand’s expansion into Canada this past weekend was yet another major milestone. Although this may not seem like much, it is actually rather impressive for a small, independent firm.

In Canada, Lobos 1707 had a celebrity-studded celebration to mark the occasion, and special guest Drake—the most recent person to be given a seat at the table—was there. Among those in attendance were Digeo Osorio, founder of Lobos 1707, and Vinay Virmani, partner and chief content officer of UNINTERRUPTED Canada, as well as Fred VanVleet, Toronto Raptors, and other important investors.
