Using a move from his former star colleague Steph Curry’s suitcase, Thompson executed the shimmy that made number 30 famous throughout his fifteen-year NBA career.

The timing couldn’t have been better, as Thompson is now dominating in his 12th game off the bench against the Pacers, scoring 15 points at halftime on 6-of-10 shooting and 3 of-6 from three-point range.

Fans have saw Thompson use the shimmy party previously, though.

In Game 5 of the 2022 Western Conference Finals against the Dallas Mavericks, Thompson blocked a shimmy after making his fourth three-pointer of the half.

In the end, Thompson scored 32 points on 12-of-25 shooting, including 8 of 16 three-pointers. His unsteady all-around play enabled Golden State to advance to the NBA Finals in 2022, where they would triumph against the Boston Celtics in six games.

The Warriors must hold their halftime advantage over the Pacers, 67–66, till the final horn.

With 69 games remaining in the 2023–2024 NBA season, every game is crucial, and every shot is unquestionably worth making.
