During the international break, Mykhailo Mudryk, the rising star of Chelsea, fulfilled his promise by presenting an iPhone to a dedicated fan. At the age of 23, Mudryk is currently with the Ukrainian national team, aiming to secure a place in the Euros through the Nations League playoffs.
Prior to their crucial match against Iceland at the Stadion Miejski Wrocław, Mudryk remembered a promise he made to a fan during the previous international break in October. He humorously mentioned the need to purchase a phone for the fan due to the device likely being filled with photos of the Chelsea star.
Before boarding the team bus, Mudryk spotted the fan outside the hotel and opened his bag, revealing a brand-new iPhone. “This is top class, a small price to pay for Mudryk, but something that guy will remember for the rest of his life,” one fan responded. While a second replied, “How lovely is that from him? Big up Mudryk!”
“This is so wholesome,” a third declared. And another added, “He’s the most chilled guy I’ve seen in a while, I can’t lie! Proper likable!” Mudryk has taken some time to settle in West London, and his international teammate, Georgiy Sudakov, speaking earlier this week, suggested that he should play as a striker.
Sudakov told 90min, “Mykhailo is a talented player, he can play in any position, not only on the wing, he can play in the center of the field, as a center forward. I am sure that he has a bright future ahead of him at Chelsea. It just requires time, and people should trust him.”
“Mykhailo and I talk every day, and in some situations, I learn from him, and he gives me advice. He’s having new challenges at Chelsea this season, but he is a very talented player with very big ambitions. I think he has a great future.”
