For their 2-year-old son, Theo, Maralee Nichols is receiving child support payments from Tristan Thompson after he is overdue.
The fitness model has been ordered to receive $57,916 in past child support from the Cleveland Cavaliers player, who was suspended for 25 games in January. The payments were missed between September 15, 2023, and January 31, 2024, according to The Sun.
Page Six’s requests for comment were not immediately answered by the attorneys for Thompson and Nichols. On December 1, 2021, Nichols gave birth to Theo following the revelation that Thompson had gotten her pregnant while dating Khloé Kardashian and expecting a child through surrogacy. Tatum, their son, was born via their surrogate.
In June 2021, Nichols, 33, filed a paternity lawsuit against the sportsman, alleging that he had gotten her pregnant during the weekend of his 30th birthday, and sought child support.
Thompson, 33, angrily denied the liaison at first, but a paternity test established that he was, in fact, the father.
He sаid оn sоciаl mediа in Jаnuаry, “Tоdаy, pаternity test results reveаl thаt I fаthered а child with Mаrаlee Nichоls.””I accept complete accountability for my deeds. After paternity has been proven, I’m excited to raise our son in a cordial manner.
Kardashian, 39, received an apology from him as well for making her feel ashamed when he cheated on her once more.Yоu dоn’t deserve this, Khlоé. He wrоte, “Yоu dоn’t deserve the pаin аnd shаme I hаve brоught upоn yоu. “The wаy I hаve treаted yоu оver the yeаrs is nоt sоmething yоu deserve.”
Even though Thompson said he was excited to “raise” his and Nichols’ baby, Theo and his son Prince, who he had with former Jordan Craig, have very little to no interaction with the occasionally “Kardashians” star.
All of your children need your equal affection and appreciation. That’s what true fathers do,” a follower wrote in response to a picture of Thompson and Tatum.
