The Boston Celtics were defeated by the Atlanta Hawks 123-122 on Thursday. This is their second consecutive defeat.
With 13 rebounds, 6 assists, and 31 points, Jayson Tatum finished the game. Tatum missed a three-point attempt in the last seconds of regulation with the score tied. After then, Boston lost in overtime.
Tatum responded to the lost chance, as shown in footage from NBC Sports Boston.
“I reаlizeԀ tҺаt I ҺаԀ misseԀ а few gаme-winning sҺоts tҺis yeаr аnԀ tҺоugҺt, ‘Ԁаmn, I gоttа be Ԁue fоr оne.'” In my cаreer, I Һаve Һit а lоt оf tҺem, but tҺаt’s just pаrt оf it. Win оr lоse in tҺe leаgue. I Ԁо like tо be in tҺоse kinԀs оf settings.”
Despite the fact that the Celtics are the NBA’s top team right now, Tatum doesn’t take his success for granted.
“Success is not easy. This serves as a helpful reminder that although we’ve been lucky enough to accomplish a lot of stuff on the other side, we should never take those things for granted. Each and every night will be difficult.
The Boston Bruins’ next game is set for Saturday, March 30, at Smoothie King Center. The game tips off at 5:00 p.m. EST against the New Orleans Pelicans.
