Stephen Curry, the star point guard for the Warriors, replied to LeBron James’s words that he wanted to play with Steph.
Los Angeles Lakers future Hall of Famer LeBron James joined “The Shop” and revealed which player he would most like to play with that is currently in the NBA. James said he wanted to play with the Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry
LeBron James, a future Hall of Famer for the Los Angeles Lakers, recently went on “The Shop” and talked about which NBA player he would most like to play with. James told them he wanted to play with Stephen Curry, the star player for the Golden State Warriors.
On Wednesday, Curry was on 95.7 The Game and played for LeBron, who said he would want to play with Curry. Curry’s answer was very interesting.
“Well, he got what he wanted. He picked me for the last two All-Star games and is the leader… I’m fine right now, but I don’t know if that’s enough. “I’m fine right now.” For some, the end of the quote or theme could have been seen as an insult to James. But then LeBron asked Curry how he felt about what he said.
“Anytime someone wants to know what it would be like to play with a guy like him—possibly the MVP type of guy— “Wow, that’s cool, it’s one of the best things ever!”
Since James can usually get into the lane and find shooters with ease, having Curry on the same team sounds like a dangerous mix.
Curry is still getting better after hurting his foot against the Boston Celtics a few weeks ago. The Warriors have had a hard time winning games since Curry got hurt. With three games left, Golden State is now only one game ahead of the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference standings. They have dropped to the third seed.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr recently gave a report on Curry’s health and said that he is stepping things up. Curry might be ready to help Golden State start the playoffs, but we don’t know for sure yet.
