Harvey Elliott is a very promising player for Liverpool. He has already played in 41 official games this season with the team. Early in 2019, he made his debut just a few months after coming from Fulham. And last season, against Inter Milan, he was the club’s youngest player to start in a European game, at 18 years and 318 days old. Elliott, who turned 20 last week, told Liverpool that he almost went to Real Madrid before he joined the team.

“I did. To be honest, it was a mix of things. Liverpool may have gotten me instead of going to Madrid. It was set in stone for me as soon as I heard they had come for me.
