Steph Curry delivers from downtown to extend the Warriors lead late🎯

At the last minute, Steph Curry wakes up to save the Warriors in Portland.

Within the last three minutes, the Warriors scored 17 goals.

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors were slow and careless for three quarters, but in the fourth quarter on Thursday night, they finally got going.

The Portland Trail Blazers are one of the worst teams in the NBA, and the Warriors looked lost until Curry found his energy and led the Warriors to a 100–92 win.

With that win, the Warriors went ahead of the Lakers to become the ninth seed in the Western Conference. The Warriors might get as high as the eighth spot if they win their last two games and the Sacramento Kings lose at least one.

The “Road Warriors” finished their away part of the regular season with an amazing 25-16 record, including 17 wins in their last 21 games away from Chase Center, thanks to Curry’s heroics on Thursday.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr chose to rest some of his best players against the Trail Blazers (21-58), who didn’t think they would be much of a thrÒ½at. Draymond Green (bruised knee), Klay Thompson (calf tightness), and Gary Payton II (calf tightness) were all not in the game. Kirr told press in Portland that all three players should be able to play on Friday.

Kerr chose to play Curry, Chris Paul, Trayce Jackson-Davis, Jonathan Kuminga, and Andrew Wiggins instead of them.

Jackson-Davis dominated the first quarter. The rookie big man stuffed the stat sheet on both sides of the court, blocking the paint and making it hard for Portland to get inside. On the other hand, the Warriors couldn’t get their aÆštack going.

The Trail Blazers took advantage of five mistakes by them in the first four minutes of the game, which was a theme all night. The Trailblazers had 15 points off of mistakes at one point, while the Warriors had none.
