Rui Hachimura’s Lavish $7.25M Encino Mansion: A Haven for Relaxation and a Spectacular Shoe Collection

The Los Angeles Lakers forward Rui Hachimura has put a lot of money into real estate in Encino, California.

The basketball player of Japanese descent just spent $7,250,000 on a modern home that is over 7,300 square feet and has six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.

Hachimura has money to spend because he signed a five-year, $51 million deal with the Lakers last summer. Some pictures of his recently dug-up land, which is about 20 miles east of Los Angeles, are shown below.

According to the offering information, this brand-new home is a modern farmhouse. However, from what we’ve seen so far, it looks more modern than pastoral.

The building looks clean, and the outside is dark. There is a lot of glass on the inside to let the Southern California sun light it up.

High-quality materials were used all over, like metal, glass, Douglas wood, white oak, natural stone, and metal finishes. The ultra-luxurious kitchen has two islands and a butler’s pantry. It also has a home bar, study, personal gym, and screening room.

The master room has a large balcony, walk-in closets, a huge double shower, and a Jacuzzi tub, among other elegant features.

A pool would look great in the private garden, which is surrounded by olive and cypress trees.

The outside has a spa, as well as a cabana, Jacuzzi, outdoor bar, fire pit, and lounge area. The property also comes with an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) that has its own living room and kitchenette.

Hachimura became the first Japanese player to ever be picked in the first round of the NBA draft when he joined the Washington Wizards in 2019. During his first season, he was named the Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year. After four years with the Wizards, Hachimura was moved to the Lakers in January 2023.
