According to the British press, Chelsea is ready to recruit veteran midfielder Raphael Varane – who is likely to leave MU this summer on a free basis.

MU will not offer an extension to the French midfielder due to the huge salary of £340,000 per week he is receiving. Moving Varane will help the Red Devils save £ 17,680,000 per year.

Currently, Varane also has many potential landing spots to choose from. Both Juventus and teams in Saudi Arabia are ready to recruit this midfielder in the summer transfer window of 2024. Sources from England said that Chelsea is planning to recruit Varane on a free basis.
