Erling Haaland Silences Roy Keane with Savage Comeback Over “League Two Level” Remarks

Erling Haaland, according to supporters, “owns” Roy Keane after the Irishman savagely responded to his “League Two level” taunt.

The Norwegian striker scored FOUR goals as Man City defeated Wolves 5-1 to cut the deficit to one point over Premier League leaders Arsenal.

With this, the 23-year-old’s goal total in 41 games this season is now 36.

Fans claim that Roy Keane has been 'cooked' and 'owned' by Erling Haaland

The Norwegian finally responded to the legend's ‘League Two level’ comments

But in spite of his amazing record since moving to the Etihad, he experienced a rough patch lately by his own admission.

Last month, following a quiet afternoon in the 0-0 draw against Arsenal at home, he was left feeling guilty for passing up a late opportunity to win after missing the ball.

While playing for Manchester United, the legendary Keane injured Haaland’s father with a horrific tackle. Keane was covering that match for Sky Sports.

Additionally, he asked that the former Dortmund forward work on his overall game.

“The levels of his general play are so poor,” Keane stated.

He needs to make that better. He resembles a player from League Two almost.

“He needs to play better overall, but he will in the coming years.” Although he is an excellent striker, he still has to work on his overall skills.

The “League Two” remark generated a lot of controversy, particularly in light of the fact that Haaland broke the single-season goal record just a year prior.

Since then, Keane has acknowledged that he might have been a bit harsh, joking that Haaland might have been more Championship caliber.

Haaland was also questioned concerning Keane’s remarks following his lethal display against Wolves.

However, he told Viaplay quite plainly, “I don’t care about that man.”

On X, fans reacted quickly. One even declared that he “owns” Keane.

“No better response than this,” stated one more.

“The world’s best striker!” exclaimed a third. Roy Keane must put in his best effort.

“Lmaoo owning Man U legend and Man united is too easy for him,” remarked a fourth.

Keane gave Haaland’s father, Alfie, a nasty challenge during a Manchester derby in 2001.

That was an act of revenge, as he would later disclose in his autobiography.

He claims that four years prior, while he was in excruciating pain from a cruciate ligament injury, Haaland had accused him of pretending to be injured.

After Haaland was substituted, Julian Alvarez scored City’s fifth goal.

And when he spoke to Sky Sports, he was much more vocal after scoring 25 goals in the Premier League this season.

“Not bad, 25 goals this season,” he remarked. I’m grateful for that. We continue.

“It wouldn’t be possible without the players surrounding me, and my not-so-bad boss who pushes me.

“I strive to grow every day; I had some issues, but let’s not dwell on them; instead, let’s be grateful for the good things in life.”
