It has always been evident that Kylian Mbappe relies on Real Madrid more than Real Madrid relies on him

Goal Mbappe set out to be the man. He so fired Messi and Neymar and insisted on a bonus and pay hike worth tens of millions of dollars. Still can’t be the guy, though, at 25. Still without Ballon Dor or a UCL. I want this person in Madrid to eat away at the city from the inside out, like termites do to wood.

With all due respect, Kylian Mbappe will never be the next Cristiano Ronaldo, nor even come close to being one. It’s time for people to accept this.
