Real Madrid presented the 36th Spanish Cup trophy to fans at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday, then continued the celebrations with a 5-0 win over Alaves thanks to a brace from Vinicius Junior, in while Jude Bellingham also shined, scoring the opening goal and contributing two assists.

Vinicius scored his first goal in the 27th minute, Federico Valverde increased the gap to 3-0 in injury time of the first half. Vinicius completed the double in the 70th minute and Arda Guler sealed the result in the 81st minute. This was Real Madrid’s ninth consecutive win. They remain unbeaten at home in the league this season and hope to go unbeaten in the entire home campaign for the first time since 2019-20.
“I am very satisfied with the match, we were serious from the beginning,” Vinicius told Spanish television. “We need to get back in shape, we have one more match to finish the season. I’m at my best. Now we have time to train and that means we can feel calm about doing a good job, and going into the final at Wembley better than ever.”
Jude Bellingham also shined, scoring the opening goal and contributing two assists.
Bellingham has scored and assisted in the same La Liga match for the fourth time this season, more than any other player. “We have a very good connection,” Vinicius said of Bellingham, who assisted on his second goal. “I always say that I admire him, I am his fan and I do everything possible for him to adapt as quickly as possible to this team and this football. Real Madrid will travel to Villarreal on Sunday, hosting Real Betis in the final La Liga match on May 25, before traveling to Wembley to face Borussia Dortmund on June 1.
