Vinicius scored his first goal in the 27th minute, Federico Valverde increased the gap to 3-0 in injury time of the first half. Vinicius completed the double in the 70th minute and Arda Guler sealed the result in the 81st minute. This was Real Madrid’s ninth consecutive win. They remain unbeaten at home in the league this season and hope to go unbeaten in the entire home campaign for the first time since 2019-20.

“I am very satisfied with the match, we were serious from the beginning,” Vinicius told Spanish television. “We need to get back in shape, we have one more match to finish the season. I’m at my best. Now we have time to train and that means we can feel calm about doing a good job, and going into the final at Wembley better than ever.”
