Sonja Curry, the wife of NBA player Stephen Curry, recently discussed her decision to preserve her second kid and her first abortion.
Sonja’s latest book is titled “Fierce Love: A Memoir of Family, Faith.”
She claimed that discussing the fact that she had an abortion with her first kid was difficult for her.
She said to Luke Norsworthy on the Newsworthy with Norsworthy Podcast, “I almost couldn’t go in the book.”
Sonja, on the other hand, claimed that she felt as though “Spirit was guiding” her in terms of the content of her book. At last, she discussed how she came to choose Stephen as her son.
Curry remarked, “But there was no Stephan when it came down to making basic choices like the ones I had to make.” “Had I gone through that, Wade Stephen Curry II would not have existed.” Besides, God had a purpose for that child.
She continued, saying, “And the Spirit spoke to me again about the cause for faith at that same moment, in a way I wasn’t even aware was occurring. And how would I characterize it the best? Just a faith that acknowledges that this would be the second time and decides not to make the decision.
Curry went on, “And I want to avoid having to make that decision once more. I just need to put my faith in God to help me conceive this kid now. “After that, I don’t know what will happen between Dell and me.” Moreover, I just have to choose one option. I only have to choose this one right decision.
Sonja admitted that even though she made the correct decision in choosing Stephen, she still feels guilty about her previous abortion and considers it “all the time.”
Stephen and Seth, Sonja’s two boys, are also NBA players. Stephen has been voted NBA Most Valuable Player thrice and has won three NBA titles.
Stephen also shares his faith with the tžuth.
The point player Stephen Curry, who will be inducted into the Hall of Fαmҽ, just surpassed all previous NBA scorers in scoring.
My cɾαzy faith is what initially drew me to basketball, and to think that I could succeed now, in front of Ray, well. Following the game, Curry told TNT, “Having my own is special.”
Curry received a t-shirt with the number “2,974” on it from Allen and Reggie Miller, the previous record holders, following the game.
It’s also incredibly special, Curry added. I haven’t given this number much thought in a long. I also wore my sneakers with the number on them. In basketball history, this is rather unusual.
Curry remarked, “It was a full-circle moment—I watched these two legends as a kid and learned how to shoot the ball from them and my dad.” “There is no denying my blessings.”
