Prodigy Endrick helped Brazil win a breathtaking victory over Mexico in the 90+6 minute

In this morning’s international friendly match , Brazil and Mexico had an exciting score chase at Kyle Field (Texas, USA). In this match, coach Dorival Junior did not use Brazil’s strongest squad by keeping stars Rodrygo, Vinicius, Paqueta and Bruno Guimaraes on the bench. Even so, they still started well and opened the score in the 5th minute thanks to Andreas Pereira.

After the early goal, Brazil lost the game. Even though they still controlled the ball more, Selecao did not have any more shots on target in the first half. Entering the second half, the same scenario occurred. Brazil once again scored early in the 54th minute, although it did not really overwhelm Mexico. This time, the scorer for them was Gabriel Martinelli.

At minute 60, both teams changed some positions on the field. This was also the time when Mexico began to rise strongly. Quinones and Ayala scored in the 73rd and 90+2 minutes respectively, helping El Tri to an unbelievable equalizer. This was when stars like Vinicius, Bruno Guimaraes and Paqueta came on the field but Brazil could not control the situation.

Thinking the match would end with a 2-2 draw, Endrick shined at the last minute. Minute 90+6, Vinicius threw the ball awkwardly for Endrick to jump high and head the ball toward the far corner. Real Madrid’s rookie is not tall, but his touch was just enough to put the ball into the net in the helplessness of the Mexican goalkeeper.

The Brazilian team will have another friendly match with the US on June 13 before participating in Copa America 2024. In this year’s final round, Brazil is in Group D with Colombia, Paraguay and Costa Rica. They will have their opening match on June 25.
