In the Copa America practice draw, Rodrygo shines but Dorival makes a mistake with his strategy.
Although the Selecao didn’t play very well, Rodrygo of Real Madrid put on a scoring clinic to hide it.
Rodrygo showed how good he can be, but Brazil didn’t play very well in a 1-1 draw with the USMNT in a game before the Copa America.
The Real Madrid star scored the only goal for the Selecao, which kind of covered up the team’s lackluster play, which was best shown by how weak the attacƙ was when Endrick was on the bench.
The USMNT had the first chance, and Yunus Musah hit the bar with a shot in the fifth minute. Rodrygo scored the first goal by shooting into the bottom corner after the home team’s defense broke down.
But the USMNT came back, and Christian Pulisic hit a free ƙick into the bottom corner. After the break, Brazil made more plays. Rodrygo did a fancy bicycle ƙick that missed wide. After charging through on goal, Endrick almost scored as soon as he got into the game. Pulisic could have made it 2-1, but his 10-yard shot went straight at the goalie.
In the next round, Rodrygo almost scored again, but Turner made a great reaction stop to keep him out. Even though Brazil put a lot of pressure on the USMNT, they were able to keep them at bay, and Brazil had to settle for a tie in their last Copa America warmup game.
