Elly De La Cruz received big time praise on Saturday.

CINCINNATI — Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz continues to have “wow” moments. On Saturday afternoon he made a great throw to first while he was fading toward third base.

Hip Hop legend Snoop Dogg was a guest on the Brewers broadcast and he couldn’t believe it.

“He’s safe, he can’t throw that. He ain’t got an arm like that,” Snoop said initially.

He quickly corrected himself after De La Cruz made a perfect throw to end the second inning.

“Who is That With That Rocket?” Snoop Dogg asked. “He got a rocket in his pocket.”
