It is common knowledge that Real Madrid is keen to sign Davies, either in the summer or when his Bayern Munich contract expires the following year.

This transfer is not easy, though. Vincent Kompany, the new manager of Bayern Munich, is eager to retain Davies for the forthcoming campaign and does not want to lose him.

For this reason, even though Davies’ contract expires in the summer of 2025, Bayern Munich has chosen to retain him for the upcoming campaign. They’re ready to accept the chance that, after his contract expires, he might walk away for nothing.

Real Madrid won’t attempt to sign him this summer unless they come across the ideal scenario, and even then, they won’t spend more than €30 million.

Davies is wanted by Bayern. Exactly!Bayern Munich is currently making a lot of effort to persuade Davies to sign a new deal. Though their pay negotiations have not been without challenges, he has recently reduced his salary demands from €20 million to €16 million per season.

Bayern Munich has raised their offer in response, raising it from €10 million to €13 million per season.

Davies may depart Bayern if they are unable to come to an agreement. But the transfer charge is the real problem here. Real Madrid is unwilling to pay more than €30 million, while Bayern Munich demands €50 million.

Davies has been somewhat flexible when it comes to the transfer money, but Bayern have not really adjusted their position. Real Madrid has decided to take a different approach in light of this circumstance.
