Luka Modric Abruptly Exits Interview After Being Irked by Question from Spanish Reporter

Luka Modric gets 𝔪ad and LEAVES the interview after a Spanish reporter asks a question. This happened after Croatia lost another Euro 2024 match to Albania by giving late in a tie.

Luka Modric didn’t seem like he wanted to talk about Croatia’s 2-2 draw with Albania at Euro 2024. He left the reporters after getting annoyed by a question from a Spanish reporter.

Before Klaus Gjasula saved a point for Albania in the fifth minute of extra time, Croatia was almost certain to win by a huge margin.

Based on this result, Croatia will most likely need to bҽat Italy on Monday in order to make it to the next round.

Modric decided not to ask the question

Even though Modric’s face showed that he was upset, he seemed to be answering questions regularly after the game until a Spanish reporter asked him a question.

When asked if the younger or older players would be fig𝔥ting for the win against Italy next week, the 38-year-old Real Madrid star looked confused.

Around this time, Modric seemed to have had enough. He said, “Come on, let’s go,” and then he left the press conference early.

Because Croatia has had a bad tournament so far, some people are wondering if this is the end of their “golden generation.”

Recently, they made it to the finals of the 2018 World Cup, came in third place at the 2019 World Cup in Qatar, and lost to Spain in the 2023 Nations League final.

Now, though, it looks like their best chance of getting out of the group stage is to be one of the four best third-place teams.

Because they lost their first game 3-0 to Spain, Croatia is already behind the other teams in the group because they have a worse goal difference.

Modric will be 40 years old by the time of the 2026 World Cup, so Euro 2024 is likely to be his last game for his country.

It was at this point he had enough with his interview with the media and stormed off

Before leaving the interview, he told the media that Croatia could bҽat Italy if they played as well in the second half as they did against Albania.

Croatia fell behind in the first half, but scored two goals in the second half, one by Andre Kramaric and the other by Gjasula, who scored an own goal to tie the game for Albania in extra time.
