According to Sky Germany , the possibility of Kimmich reaching an agreement with Bayern Munich on a new contract is “very unlikely” and the Bundesliga club is also ready to sell him this summer.

Previously, The Athletic said Bayern would let Kimmich leave if they received a strong enough offer. As for this player, he identified Arsenal , Liverpool and Man City as the top three priority clubs in case of going to the Premier League to play football.

In addition, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also potential landing spots for the German midfielder. Kimmich wants to find a new challenge after nearly a decade at Allianz Arena.

Currently, the binding effect between Kimmich and Bayern is valid until 2025. The Bavarian club wants to sell the German midfielder and must promote the deal this summer to avoid losing everything next year.

German media said that the reason why Bayern wanted to sell Kimmich lies in the appearance of Aleksandar Pavlovic. The German-Serbian player is asserting his position in the club’s midfield. This player combines with Leon Goretzka to create a very compatible midfield duo.

Kimmich joined Bayern from RB Leipzig in 2015. During nearly a decade with the Allianz Arena team, the player born in 1995 has every title including Bundesliga, German National Cup, UEFA Champions League , European Super Cup , FIFA Club World Cup.

As for Arsenal, this team needs to add a midfielder to pair with Declan Rice in the midfield. Coach Mikel Arteta admires Kimmich’s talent. However, the “Gunners” need to negotiate with Bayern to finalize the price of the deal.
