Redick, 40, had a successful 15-year NBA career, playing for the Dallas, New Orleans, Philadelphia, LA Clippers, Milwaukee, and Orlando teams between 2006 and 2011. The former guard was a member of 14 teams that made it to the NBA Playoffs over his 15 seasons. With an average of 12.8 points in 940 regular season games, the well-known shooter performed admirably in his position. Throughout his career, Redick shot 41.5 percent from outside the arc, and his 1,950 made triples rank 20th all-time in NBA history.

Redick joined ESPN as an analyst shortly after declaring his retirement on September 21, 2021, and he was just elevated to the network’s lead broadcast crew. Redick co-founded ThreeFourTwo Productions, where he co-hosts two well-known podcasts, “The Old Man and the Three” and “Mind the Game,” with Laker LeBron James.
Redick was chosen by the Magic with the 11th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft. He attended Duke University for four years as a student from 2002 to 2006. In addition to becoming a two-time unanimous first-team All-American while a Blue Dҽvil, Redick won the 2006 Naismith Men’s College Player of the Year award. On February 4, 2007, Redick, who is still the school’s all-time top scorer, had his No. 4 jersey retired. Additionally, the university said that Redick will be admitted in 2024 to the Duke Athletics Hall of Famҽ. Following an exceptional career at Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, Virginia, where he was a McDonald’s All-American as a senior, the Tennessee native decided to attend Duke.
