LeBron James and Lil Wayne Star in New Beats Pill Campaign

Tunechi and LeBron star in the new Beats Pill campaign dubbed “The Predicament.”

It’s not a return, please. With better sound features, a lower price tag, and Lil Wayne and LeBron James assisting in the ushering in of the new era, the Beats Pill is making a comeback.

The new Beats Pill, which was unveiled on Tuesday, June 25, is 10% lighter than its predecessor and has a 20-degree tilt for “better on-axis sound projection.” It will retail for $149.99, which is around $50 less than the original. Matte black, statement red, and champagne gold are the color options.

James said in a statement, “The Beats Pill has been a staple in the James household from day one.” Being a part of the product’s relaunch for a new generation is exciting because it’s an iconic one.

“The Predicament,” the latest Beats Pill ad, features Tunechi and LeBron. The song “A Milli” by Tunechi plays in the background as James throws a hotel party, keeping Lil Wayne awake in an adjacent room. Wayne ends up joining in on the celebration after getting up to investigate the source of the noise.

The Beats Pill has a battery life of up to 24 hours and a Fast Fuel option that allows you to listen to music for two hours following a ten-minute charge. With one-touch pairing and continuous playback on both iOS and Android, the Bluetooth speaker is USB-connected.

Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats, declared, “The Beats Pill is back and better than ever—now packed with outstanding sound, all-day battery life, and convenient features.” “We’re excited to bring back a fan favorite updated with the latest features in an iconic design—the original Beats Pill was a pop culture phenomenon, from the adored Pill characters to cameos in the most watched music videos worldwide.”

If you own the original Beats Pill, which was released in 2012 or 2013, you are undoubtedly aware of the poor bass and choppy sound quality. Beats claims that the redesigned Pill will provide “better sound than ever before.”

Beats Pill has a retractable carry lanyard, a soft-grip silicone backing, an IP67 dust and waterproof rating, and a revised tweeter for “crisper highs and rich mid-range tones” in addition to other acoustic enhancements.
