Musiala shines, Germany awaits Spain in EURO quarter-finals

In the 66th minute, Denmark suddenly had a chance after Hojlund escaped. The 21-year-old striker fired a powerful shot but Neuer still chose an excellent position to save the home team.

After an impressive save, Neuer sparked an impressive attack. Musiala broke down the left wing, before neatly placing the ball past goalkeeper Schmeichel to make it 2-0 in the 68th minute.

In the final minutes, Denmark tried their best to find an equalizer. Hojlund and his teammates could not find a way to score against Neuer, and paid the price with a third goal in the 90+1 minute. However, VAR intervened and determined that Wirtz was offside.

The match at Signal Iduna Park ended in a 2-0 victory for Germany. Denmark left EURO with their heads held high after a fair match with the hosts. Germany became the next team, after Switzerland, to reach the quarter-finals.
