MESUT OZIL has been tipped to join the WWE after showing off his insane 12-month body transformation.

The former Arsenal man, 35, has been labelled an “animal” by fans following his latest workout snap.

The former Arsenal midfielder retired from football in March 2023 aged 34

Ozil retired from professional football aged 34 in March 2023.

He has since provided been a regular in the gym, often updating fans with his progress.

Former team-mate Mario Gomez even joked Ozil was trying to become a “little Cristiano Ronaldo” after one picture of his physique.

His latest upload has wowed fans once again as the ex-Germany man lifted up his top to show his ripped six-pack.

Ozil smiled for the camera as he posed in the gym, captioning the post: “1 year very hard work.”

Reacting to the body transformation, one follower wrote: “Animal.”

Another added: “Bro is going to WWE.”

A third fan also commented: “Bro is trying to fight in the UFC.”

Meanwhile, one more said: “Bro is jacked.”

Ozil ended his career 16 months ago after scoring 23 goals in 92 caps for Germany.

He was also part of the World Cup-winning side in Brazil a decade ago.

At club level, Ozil starred for the likes of Schalke, Werder Bremen and Real Madrid before joining Arsenal in 2013.

During eight years in England, he scored 44 goals and provided 75 assists in 254 appearances as well as winning the FA Cup four times.

Ozil ended his career in Turkey with spells at Fenerbahce and Basaksehir.
