The Euro 2024 Golden Boot rankings, which include Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham of England
Before England plays Netherlands in the semi-finals of Euro 2024, the race for the Golden Boot is heating up.
Five players are currently tied with three goals. Cody Gakpo (Netherlands) and Dani Olmo (Spain) are the only ones still in the game; Georges Mikautadze (Georgia), Jamal Musiala (Germany), and Ivan Schranz (Slovakia) have already left for home.
At the moment, Olmo is in charge of the Golden Boot. The star player for RB Leipzig scored in their exciting semi-final win over France on Tuesday, making him ahead of Gakpo in the ranks with two assists. It was his third goal in a row.
At the time of this writing, the Liverpool star has only set up one goal.
Gakpo will, of course, have the chance to go ahead if he scores more tonight against England.
The award will also be important to Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham.
Both have scored twice. Kane scored in the group stage against Denmark and then scored the game-winning goal in the round of 16 against Slovakia.
