Vinicius Junior doesn’t seem to be thinking about how sad it was for Brazil to lose the 2024 Copa America.

The Real Madrid forward was on a Selecao team that didn’t play very well and lost in the quarterfinals of the South American title.

Even though Vinicius had a nearly perfect season with Real Madrid in 2023–24, he had a hard time recapturing his club form with Brazil, scoring just two goals in three games, according to Transfermarkt.

But because he was suspended, he missed the important match against Uruguay in the last eight.

The young player who used to play for Flamengo watched from the stands on July 7 as Dorival Junior’s team was eliminated from the tournament in penalty shootouts after the game.
