Colombia coach Nestor Lorenzo is proud of his team’s performance at Copa America 2024, despite the loss to Argentina in the final.

The 2024 Copa América final ended with Argentina’s 1-0 victory over Colombia after 120 minutes of intense competition. Even though they lost, coach Nestor Lorenzo still seemed very proud of his students’ performance. During the post-match press conference, he shared his thoughts and feelings about his journey in this tournament.

At the beginning of the press conference, Lorenzo emphasized: “We lost, but I don’t feel it was a failure.”

Lorenzo appreciated the team’s efforts in the harsh playing conditions in Miami: “It’s impossible to endure the heat and humidity of Miami without effort. It’s really difficult.”
