The 28-year-old had one of the best seats in the house for Carlos Alcaraz's clash with Novak Djokovic

Tonight at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Gareth Southgate’s team plays Spain.

Carlos Alcaraz, a Spanish superstar, competed in the renowned SW19 tournament final this afternoon.

Additionally, Grealish, who dressed like a Southgate fan, had one of the best seats in the house as the Spaniard destroyed Novak Djokovic to win the title again.

Alcaraz became just the NINTH man in the Open Era to defend the trophy after defeating the Serbian powerhouse 6-2 6-2 7-6.

Like many other football supporters at Centre Court, Grealish was probably overjoyed that Djokovic gave Alcaraz so little fight.

This is due to the fact that he won’t need to make a last-minute rush to watch tonight’s game in front of a screen.

For Grealish, seeing the Wimbo final live will be the merest solace following their elimination from the Euros.

Carlos Alcaraz retained his Wimbledon title with a dominant win over Novak Djokovic

Grealish, who sent the message “Good luck to the lads” on Instagram before of the Three Lions’ Group C opener against Serbia, hasn’t discussed his exclusion from the squad in great detail.

Nonetheless, the 28-year-old has been encouraging his teammates throughout the competition, as has James Maddison, another squad member who is not present.

Declan Rice, a midfielder for Arsenal and England, stated of the pair: “They’ve all been so supportive.”

“It is difficult, don’t get me wrong; the guys would have loved having them on the team.”

They have portrayed such significant roles for us in England and are such huge characters.

It would be simple for them to ignore messages and act resentful, but it is not at all who they are.

“They have been extremely joyful and supportive, sending greetings over FaceTime. We’ve been laughing together, and they’re overjoyed for us.

“As I have stated, it is heartbreaking that they were not present for this journey with us, but they have all made enormous artistic contributions to our current state of being.

“So whatever happens on Sunday, they’re fully a part of it with us as well.”
