Joselu left Madrid in 2012 to join Hoffenheim, but 11 years later, having spent time at Stoke City and Newcastle, he returned to the Spanish capital.

The 33-year-old striker and Carvajal have experienced Madrid youth teams together and they also understand each other very well off the field. The duo met the love of their lives early in their careers in the Spanish capital, and it turns out they are twins.

Joselu married Melanie Canizares in 2016, the couple is still going strong after more than a decade, while Carvajal married Daphne Canizares last year and they are expecting their second child after confirming Canizares’ pregnancy online society in March.

Melanie is a flight attendant and model, while Daphne owns the company “Blue Weddings” which specializes in organizing weddings and social events.
