Brazilian national team player Rodrygo and surfer Samuel Pupo surfed together this Wednesday (17). The duo was in the Boa Vista Village condominium, in the interior of São Paulo, and took advantage of the wave pool and artificial beach there.

On social media, the two posted photos of the meeting. “That shirt change is priceless @rodrygogoes. Always good to see you brother! Now it’s your turn to put me out there racing at the Santiago Bernabéu”, joked Pupo. The surfer showed moments of the player on the board.

The Real Madrid striker published a video showing the customization of his surfboard. “The best free time possible. With my brother Samuel Pupo”, he wrote in the caption.

Pupo started surfing at the age of three and competing at the age of five. In 2022, he won the title of best WSL newcomer, ranking 10th among the best surfers in the world. In April this year, Samuel finished runner-up in the Challenger stage in Gold Coast, Australia. The competition is part of the scoring for surfers to fight for a place in the WSL elite in 2025.
