Lakers News: JJ Redick Says Anthony Davis Makes a Difference On The Court

Anthony Davis is one of the two or three best defensive players in the NBA

As the Los Angeles Lakers get ready for the new season, they start this journey with JJ Redick as their head coach. The former NBA guard is in charge of the most famous basketball team in history, which puts a lot of pressure on him.

 

 

The Lakers think that Redick is the best guy for the job, even though he doesn’t have much experience. Adding in the fact that LeBron James and Anthony Davis are still on the team, things could be going really well for Redick.

That’s what Redick wants his team to be like on the court. Davis is a big part of what the Lakers will do. As Redick starts his career as a teacher, he likes that Davis is a leader on both ends of the court.

Redick talked about how great Davis was on SiriusXM NBA Radio. He liked everything Davis could do on the court. Last year, Davis once again proved why he is one of the best players in the league, and Redick paid attention.

“One of the two or three best big men in the NBA on defense is Anthony Davis.”

If Davis can stay fit, the Lakers could have the best defense in the NBA. There have been times when Davis’s health has been bad, but he had a pretty good season last year.

He will give the Lakers at least a chance in the Western Conference if he can do that again. Redick can see the chance that’s there, and Davis will be a big part of helping the team reach its goals.
