Mbappe’s salary at Real Madrid is far lower than when he was at PSG. This player only ranks third in the salary rankings in La Liga.

According to the Spanish press, Real Madrid has accepted to pay a salary of up to 31.2 million euros per year for Mbappe. This amount of money ensures that the French striker is the player with the highest income at the Bernabeu.

However, compared to when playing for PSG, Mbappe has had a sharp decrease in salary (72 million euros per year). In addition to the above salary, the striker also received a bribe fee of 80 million euros to be paid over 5 years.

At Real Madrid, Mbappe receives a higher salary than a series of stars such as David Alaba (22.5 million euros/year), Vinicius (20.8 million euros/year), Jude Bellingham (18.7 million euros/year), Federico Valverde (15 million euros/year) and Thibaut Courtois (14.5 million euros/year).

However, if counted in La Liga, the star born in 1998 is not the person receiving the highest salary. There are two players with higher salaries than Mbappe: Robert Lewandowski (33.5 million euros/year) and Frenkie de Jong (37.5 million euros/year). Both of these players are members of Barcelona.

In the top 10 highest paid players in La Liga, Barcelona has another player, Ilkay Gundogan, with 16.6 million euros/year.

Real Madrid and Barcelona dominate the rankings of the 10 highest paid players in La Liga. Only one player not on the payroll of these two clubs is present, goalkeeper Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid with 20.8 million euros/year and ranked 5th on this list.
