Nacho Fernandez has said goodbye to Real Madrid after 23 years of association.

After much speculation, defender Nacho Fernandez recently had an emotional farewell to Real Madrid after 23 years of association.

He was given a special appreciation party by President Florentino Perez, something not every hero gets.

The two stood for a photo in the team’s traditional room.

During his time at Los Blancos, Nacho won 26 major and minor titles, most notably 6 Champions League titles in 10 years.

Nacho could not help but be emotional on his farewell to the club. He said: ” I have grown up for almost 24 years at the best club in the world. Real Madrid taught me how to win and lose, but above all how to live. This club means everything to me. I say goodbye with the knowledge that I have given my all for this club”.

Many friends attended Nacho’s farewell ceremony.

Nacho had an incredible summer winning EURO 2024 for Spain.

Before that, he also defeated Dortmund in the Champions League Final.

As captain, Nacho ‘brought the cup’ back to Spain.

The royal team had a memorable celebration and gratitude ceremony for fans at the historic Cibeles square.
