Man Utd fans have received bad news that new signing Leny Yoro will be out for 3 months with an injury he suffered in the recent friendly match against Arsenal.

The 18-year-old player was seen wearing protective boots and crutches, thereby showing the seriousness of the injury.

However, the “Red Devils” are said to not be too worried about Yoro’s injury situation, and that helps to somewhat comfort the fans’ mood.

This was shared by journalist Fabrizio Romano on his personal YouTube channel: “Manchester United have confirmed Leny Yoro’s physical condition and they are not worried about the long term. He was unlucky in that friendly match. In general, the medical tests are completely fine.”

Notably, right after Yoro’s injury, L’Equipe announced that PSG had previously withdrawn from the deal to buy Yoro because the player was prone to injuries. The “rich French guy” believes that the former Lille player’s career will be seriously affected by injuries.

However, Romano denied the above information when saying that PSG, Real Madrid and Liverpool, the teams wishing to have Yoro’s services, are not concerned about this player’s physical condition.

The Italian added: “Reports that other clubs have withdrawn from the race for Leny Yoro because of his physical condition are not true, I can assure you. PSG, Liverpool and Real Madrid all wanted to sign Yoro. No team withdrew. That is absolutely not true. Yoro is just unlucky, this is not an injury that depends on him.”

Leny Yoro is considered one of France’s top young stars, and Man Utd decided to “play big” when spending 52 million pounds to get a nod from Lille. The 18-year-old player is the second new player to arrive at Old Trafford after the case of striker Joshua Zirkzee.
