There is no question that they will have talked about their plans for the future. After the fact, Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold did try to get Bellingham to join Liverpool a few years ago.

Fans now think it will be Bellingham who tries to get Alexander-Arnold to move to Spain instead of the other way around.

It is said that Liverpool’s sporting director Richard Hughes has made it a mission to extend the Scouser’s contract. The longer this goes on, though, the more worried fans will be that their hometown hero might leave.

Alexander-Arnold will soon be back in preseason training, which will make Liverpool fans happy.
