Liverpool fans witnessed the heartbreaking moment when coach Jurgen Klopp and his wife boarded a plane to leave the City after nearly 9 years of emotional attachment

Coach Jurgen Klopp had one last chance to sаy goodbye to Liverpool’s devoted fans at a farewell party before departing on Wednesday (May 29, UK time). Jurgen Klopp has explained his decision to leave Liverpool, claiming that he no longer has the energy and that the club does not require “a passenger”.

The Carabao Cup has been radically reformed, and the Big Six Premier League will benefit.

Jurgen Klopp was present at Liverpool’s final farewell event on Tuesday night (May 28, UK time), which was attended by over 10,000 fans at M&S Bank Arena. Following the event, coach Jurgen Klopp and his wife Ulla Sandrock boarded a plane to depart Liverpool. The couple was seen boarding a plane at Liverpool Airport less than 24 hours after the incident.

Jurgen Klopp told Liverpool fans in an emotional speech before leaving that “it’s time for me to go”. Klopp stated that he could not manage Liverpool at “90%” and did not want to be a “passenger” at The Kop.

Jurgen Klopp stated, “I know many people don’t believe me when I sаy I’m running out of energy. I’m not concerned about my personal life, and it’s not like I can’t get up in the morning. When I talk about running out of energy, how do I understand? I know you all work harder and harder than I do, but the difference is that I’m constantly being watched by the public, which makes me feel a little uneasy.

The thing is, you can’t do 90% of my job. Other tasks will be completed within a week or two. But being the owner or manager of a team like Liverpool FC requires you to be on top of your game, and I don’t think I am anymore. I can’t come here as a passenger. Nobody needs passengers anymore, and I don’t do that job anymore.”

Jurgen Klopp joked that not winning every trophy in his final season at Liverpool benefited his successor, Arne Slot. Jurgen Klopp stated, “When you are responsible for a club like this, you must make sound decisions. Is that the right decision?

It’s the right thing for me, as well as for the club. We want to have the best season possible. Overall, it was a good season, but not a perfect one. That’s the foundation, and we assisted the new manager by not winning everything so he could improve!”

Klopp praised Slot, who won the Dutch championship and Dutch Cup in his last two seasons at Feyenoord, and revealed that he had spoken with the Dutchman and his coaching staff. “Arne Slot is a good guy,” Klopp said. “It was a very good conversation. I’ve spoken with everyone on the new leadership team, and he’s a very good manager.”

Jurgen Klopp, 56, left Anfield after nearly nine years and seven major titles. Klopp could have won more, but he lost three European Cup finals and was twice beaten by Manchester City for the Premier League title. Jurgen Klopp claims that the unbreakable bond he has formed with Liverpool fans cannot be measured solely in terms of silverware, and that Liverpool will never be purely financial.

Coach Jurgen Klopp added: “I know it’s all about success, but the relationships we build aren’t based on titles. It is founded on genuine trust, togetherness, the experiences we’ve shared, and the things we’ve gone through together.

You can try anything and get nothing. But if you don’t try, you won’t succeed, so we kept trying, and sometimes things worked out. It worked, and we won everything. We made it to three Champions League finals, which is ridiculous.

Can you imagine Liverpool having unlimited money? Can you spend freely on whatever you want? At the time, Kylian Mbappe, Bellingham, and Haaland all came here. It doesn’t fit. That is not us. We won what we won, and we did it Liverpool style.”

Klopp also joked that Liverpool legend Sir Kenny Dalglish was his friend since his first day at the club, but it took him three years to realize it due to Sir Kenny Dalglish’s Glasgow accent. Klopp said Dalglish has always been a loyal supporter and that the Liverpool legend is a wonderful person.

Jurgen Klopp added, “Talking about Sir Kenny Dalglish, many years ago, at the World Cup in 2006, I was a very young coach in Germany and met Franz Beckenbauer and Pele.” These two guys are the most wonderful people you could ever meet, the most humble and kind. We met, and they treated me wonderfully.

They taught me that whatever happens in life, you don’t have to change. Then I went to Liverpool to meet Sir Kenny Dalglish. Kenny is exactly that type of person. He has treated me as a friend since day one. It only took me three years to get it! Sir Kenny Dalglish is an absolutely wonderful man.”
