FLIGHT CLUB: Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui pull up at Man Utd in identical black Mercedes vans to finalize their £60m double transfer

BAYERN MUNICH stars Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui have touched down at Carrington, preparing to complete their £60 million double transfer to Manchester United.

The duo are Erik ten Hag’s prime targets, following the £52 million acquisition of French defender Leny Yoro and the earlier £34 million signing of Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee.

A major deal appears to be on the horizon as De Ligt and Mazraoui were seen arriving at Carrington on Monday morning.

The duo showed up in identical black Mercedes vans after flying to Manchester earlier in the day.

They are set to undergo medical examinations later today as United gears up to officially announce their signings.

Earlier this morning, De Ligt and Mazraoui were spotted boarding a flight to the UK from Munich airport.

The two defenders were all smiles as they arrived at the tarmac in private vehicles.

De Ligt walked into the terminal solo, carrying a large rucksack and an even bigger suitcase.

Meanwhile, Morocco international Mazraoui opted for a personal bag, while a handler wheeled a smaller case behind him.

United are set to shell out around £45 million for centre-back De Ligt, with Mazraoui—who also played alongside the Dutchman at Ajax—coming in at a cost of £15 million.

Both men are familiar with Ten Hag, having played under United’s boss in Amsterdam for several seasons.

The move will see them join fellow ex-Ajax stars Andre Onana, Antony and Lisandro Martinez at Old Trafford.
