Teenage football star Arda Guler, 19, from Turkey, has gained a million Instagram followers in the two weeks since the Euros started. He plays with Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid and has a baby face.
Jude Bellingham has been called the “heartthrob” of the England team. He has probably gained more fans and followers since making a bicycle flip against Slovakia in the 95th minute last night, which sealed England’s fate in the Euros.
But the 21-year-old might have to deal with competition from a Real Madrid partner who is an even younger football star who has won the hearts of millions of people on social media.
Arda Guler, 19, became the newest star of the Euros after getting more than a million Instagram fans in just a few days.
The young Turkish star has won more than just goals. Since the game began, he has gained more than a million followers, bringing his total number of social media fans to 10.3 million.
Many more people have started following Arda than any other player between June 13th and June 27th. Over a million new fans have joined him.
Arda got Turkey off to a great start in the football event by scoring a goal that made the crowd go wild in their game against Georgia. Fans have since called him the “Turkish Messi” because of how well he played.

Some people might be upset, but the kid is thought to have a girlfriend named Duru Nayman, who is a basketball player from Arda’s home country of Turkey.
His boyfriend is also an athlete. She is on the Galatasaray Women’s Basketball team and is thought to be about 18 years old.
Fans thought they might have become romantically involved after seeing Duru sitting next to Arda’s parents when he was introduced for Real Madrid.
The “Turkish Messi” scored a brilliant 20-yard goal against Georgia, becoming the third teenager to score on his very first Euros start. The other two were Ferenc Bene for Hungary against Spain in 1964 and Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal against Greece in 2004.
Arda has a great list of firsts, and now he is also the youngest player to score on their first game in the European Championship.
After an embarrassing loss to Portugal and then a close win against the Czech Republic, the team has gone from strong to weak so far. They are now in second place in Group F and will move on to the next round.
